At a pure pragmatic level, anything that makes fascists annoyed is something we should be doing more of. And they clearly hate being labeled "weird". But even ideologically, this kind of labeling is how we can ostracize them societally. It's not enough (no one tactic is), but it's clearly effective at labeling them as the fringe, deranged political actors that they are.
So yes, they're weird, bizarre, beyond the pale, and just outright strange.
