For sale: lady sunhats, never worn.

Aarhus city, a photo taken a few weeks ago, but it looks the same every day and has done for months. With brief moments of exception: dark, wet, rain lashing down from grey and black clouds on to black seawater. We can see the promenade, usually packed in summer, empty of people. The customs house turrets and the cathedral spire stick up in the midday gloom. Not as bad as a heatwave or wildfires, a privilege in a climate crisis to only be wet and chilly in Summer. But still – there are record amounts of rain and wind with their own consequences – the climate norms for annual rainfall that were broken last year in September have just been broken this year already now in July.
