Painted stones arranged like a turtle are nestled in moss on shaded ground. The rock representing the body is the largest, painted light green with sky blue ovals with dark green outlines. The head rock is in front with two black dots for eyes. Three smaller rocks have many small blue dots, each representing a leg. There is a small divot on the front right where one leg rock is missing. The moss is yellow green with some brown dried leaves interspersed. The focus is sharp forthwith head a front leg, with a gentle blur further back. [Garnish (NL, Canada), April 2024]
