"EV industry has demonstrated abuses throughout its supply chain, from the Philippines and Indonesia to the Democratic Republic of Congo and China. Business and Human Rights Resource Center, an international watchdog organization, has documented allegations of abuse in EV-related mining operations around the world, including those based in Switzerland, Mexico, and the United States. Among manufacturers implicated in the abuses were Volkswagen, China’s BYD, and Tesla."
