I had to squint to see what’s on the lily pad. It’s Mads Strange, the Liberal Alliance party’s 24-year-old European Parliament candidate who thinks that women shouldn’t be soldiers because our wombs are needed at home to have more babies and that men are better than women at sports, especially ones that require ‘the power of thinking’. Whoever kissed that frog must be fucking devastated.

Upright image of a marshy grassy pond in front of some white buildings. Lots of small fallen leaves have gathered in a big patch in the middle that resembles a lily pad. On it, a torn faded election poster from the EU elections in June. We can just see that it’s a photo of Denmark’s PoundShop Andrew Tate, Mads Strange, with his name printed underneath. Mr. Nominative Determinism was number two in his party in the Danish electoral list system so didn’t get in, but their number one did.
