I know it's rude to brag, but today I saw the colour blue

Water’s edge, Aarhus city centre, looking out to sea. Left: distinctive triangular and rectangular and octagonal apartment blocks, including a 70 metre tall one with a giant clock. Right, across the water: the docks with warehouses and industrial cranes like giant’s chairs. In the expanse of water in front of us, gleaming white water-sports ramps below cables. In the middle, a single person in a wetsuit, upright at full speed on a wakeboard, a trail of bright white wake behind them. The sky and sea are deep blues, the sun is very strong, sparkling on the water. The whole scene is extremely blue. After months of wind and winter-grey summer days and incessant rain, today feels like stepping through a portal into a parallel universe where everything is made of this amazing newfangled colour, blue.
