I am reading the Sally Clark and Angela Canning judgments again as background for my upcoming Letby piece.
Never been so angry at the English legal system.
I am looking at those case to see how statistical and expert evidence was (mis)used then and to see how the court dealt with it then.
Please note the cases are not the same as Letby's in many respects.
I have no view on her guilt, but I am writing something on how the courts now deal with expert evidence/stats.
