Got home late last night and the inverter failed when the wife turned on the induction hob. Turns out the 125A MCB breaker feeding the inverter decided to fail.
Opening it up shows the contacts and conductive braid were badly discoloured from constant heavy loads like car charging.
I swapped it for a new one (thank goodness for spares) and had everything back up in 10 minutes but I think I'll be replacing it with a MCCB in the near future.
