Like all countries, Britain has the capability to block internet traffic to and from Twitter/X. However, a hard block would be contentious. Far better, in my view, would be to subtly throttle the traffic. Drop packets. Do just enough to make the service progressively more shitty to use. [Shitty is a technical term in my lexicon]. Strangle it slowly, just enough for the blame to fall on Musk’s shoulders. He’s already known for breaking it. And slowly, slowly tighten the digital noose.
