When I'm running team dev exercises, I often feel I need to remind groups that the "customer" is in the room. Even then, the majority don't ask the "customer" any questions or run any UX design choices by me.
I can't recall once a group discussing acceptance tests with me, and this is usually coming directly after an exercise on ATDD.
Of course, they'll debate these things between themselves ad infinitum.
