Riddle me this Batman: It sounds like the centrist leadership of the Democratic Party has accepted that Biden isn't going to win, despite the polls not being that bad. It seems implausible to me that they think they can find an alternative candidate that would do better than Biden. (LBJ, cautionary tale.) So assuming they don't have a case of the stupids on that particular point, why do they think it's better to lose with somebody else than to lose with Biden?
