A year ago, I took a long train journey to the wrong station in Taiwan: then “corrected” my path with a local bus service that took about two hours to wind its way.
The driver pinged me on disembarking for not having paid the right fare. And another passenger bailed me out with some change for the only cash I had.
Still made the departing flight. And spent 20 hours in the air getting to my destination.
I really actually love travel.
