I've wanted to try one of those "Watch! Every! Olympics! Event!" services since NBC offered their first "Triplecast" $150 pay-per-view experiment in 1992, but this year I'm finally doing it, because Peacock ran a special last month of a flat $20 for full access. I can watch every event on Peacock, then NBCOlympics.com is centrally collecting every single four-minute "storytelling" piece from every NBC property, from the "Today" show to the "Tonight" show, USA and more. More to come!
My two-screen setup for this year's Olympics: On the left, streaming service Peacock.com, which is offering both live coverage and recorded versions of every single event; on the right, NBCOlympics.com, which is centrally gathering up every four-minute "storytelling" piece about the Olympics that appear across all NBC properties, from the "Today" show to the "Tonight" show, Bravo, USA, NBC News and more.
