The full-scale freakout about someone trying to assasinate Trump winning him the election is absurd.
No one’s going to change their vote because of this. The Trump cultists are all gonna still vote, folks who wouldn’t vote for him aren’t going to change their vote *to* an authoritarian tyrant because someone tried to kill him.
I get why it feels like this is some watershed moment. It’s a big event. But it’s not changing how people vote. Don’t be ridiculous.
