Being forced against my will today to watch "Deal Or No Deal" for the very first time in my life. Were you aware that the entirety of "Deal Or No Deal" -- I mean, all 22 minutes of every episode -- consists of nothing but contestants picking random numbers? That's literally it! I knew modern game shows had gotten notoriously stupid, but I was legitimately shocked to discover that one of the most popular is just literally people going, "Um, 7?" "You win!" "Um, 9?" "I'm sorry, you lose!"
Howie Mandel, host of "Deal Or No Deal," looking particular smug, ironic for hosting a show that entirely consists of people just picking random numbers and being told whether they're "winners" or not.
