#WritersCoffeeClub 7/6. Does your WIP have a prologue. How do you feel about prologues?
It depends what is meant by "prologue" in this case - I have a cold opening flashback scene to a moment in the MC's past that helps the reader understand some things about who they are and how certain relationships were formed. I try to write these to be linked to and to flow neatly into the present day start of the story. This sort of thing I like.
A dry report on some prior events, less so.
