A sad milestone in British blues music history and the end of an era.
The ‘Beano’ album with Eric Clapton and ‘A Hard Road’ with Peter Green defined the genre, never to be surpassed.
I only saw him once live at the Bottom Line in NYC with Buddy Whittington on guitar. Great gig.
He leaves behind an unparalleled legacy. Sleep well.
