Here's my crap soldering job in four photos.
1. Wire passing through lug. Sloppy.
2. Wire soldered to lug. Very sloppy. Cut those loose strands off.
3. Heat shrink tubing slid over lug.
4. Heat shrink tubing shrunk to fit, hiding all my sins.
BTW, don't slide the heat shrink tubing up to the lug until the solder has cooled. Or it'll shrink at the end and you'll never get it on the lug, and you'll have to carefully cut the shrunk bit off without removing the tubing, and this is a pain.
