If you are programming c# or c++, please use std::strings and not arrays of char.
Spent 18 hours to find a segfault caused by memory corruption. Traced it to a character array that was too small to hold the text resulting in overflow that corrupted memory.
This is made worse because the code is littered with homemade linkedlist and stacks. Use STL!
