Had a neighbor watch my indoor-only cats for 6 days while I was away. I only wanted her to make sure their water towers were filled.
Got home after midnight, drove into the garage...and one of my orange cats goes tearing from the house door across the front of the garage to the shelves where there are lots of hiding places.
He stayed at the rear of the garage while I closed the door. Then he started meowing his head off. I found him, scruffed him, took him inside, and got him some food.
