Some things never change - I did this countless times when I was a kid 🤔
I took my son for a walk to a local creek as he is recovering from his knee injury. While I was casting my tenkara line, he built a little fish trap in the flowing water and waited for me to catch some fish 😊
I felt a bit of pressure, but I managed to catch a few fallfish for him 😉

A small, round fish trap was built with rocks from the pebble beach near the left bank. The creek flows through suburban woodland, and this section of the creek is wide and shallow. Many trees are in the background.
