I have just discovered that dicyclomine is not only an effective intestinal pain reliever, it is also the worst tasting medicine in the world. I can't swallow gel caps very well. Sometimes they hang out in my esophagus until they dissolve, and an innocent little burp sends bitter powder up my nose and into my throat. No pill is fun this way, but this one tasted like strychnine, bitterness, and death. #ibs
