Is it possible to devalue a nation’s currency to the point a billionaire can purchase the nation?
I would think MMT/Keen would note that by slashing government deficit, Milei has slashed the country’s monetary supply, and pillaged its people’s bank accounts. Usually the private banking system dramatically expands credit in these circumstances leading to a bubble and then collapse (see Great Depression). 🧵
