The Hanseatic merchants were never forced to submit to the King, and were never kicked out. The Kontor existed for another 200 years. But more and more merchants chose to become Norwegian subjects of their own accord, driven by loss of privileges and changing circumstances in general - towards the end, it just wasn't advantageous anymore to be a foreign citizen and reside in Norway. Unlike the Kontors of London and Novgorod, the Bergen Kontor ended after a long decline, not a sudden closure.
