The Kerivoula minuta, or Least Woolly Bat, is native to Malaysia, Thailand, and even Borneo. They are one of the smallest bats in Borneo, the world’s smallest woolly bat, and the smallest vesper bat! They reach lengths under 30 millimeters or 1.18 inches, with 25 to 29 millimeters or 0.98 to 1.14-inch forearms and weighing 1.9 to 2.5 grams or 0.067 to 0.088 ounces.
Here is a Least Woolly Bat, on a tree. This photograph was taken by CW Francis.
Here is a close-up, of a different one. This photograph was taken by Juliana Binti Senawi, of the Malaysia Biodiversity Information System.
