What a beautiful lovely surprise this was.
I’m not a fan of anything Corgan or Pumpkins related past Machina, but THESE are beautiful songs.
Here, all the drums, volume and gothy sadness of the Pumpkins is stripped away, and we’re left with just piano, acoustic guitars and gorgeous string arrangements. Just good ole William Patrick Corgan chillin’ out a bit, and giving us a great Sunday morning type album.
