Using the flats from the next session (yes, I know...) I tried reprocessing the subs that brought to this one.
That indeed fixed vignetting and most of the other defects (basically all smudges but one, which I cropped out here)
For the occasion, I tried operating background extraction with Siril on the individual subs, stacked the result, then use GraXpert to get rid of the leftover gradient.
Not sure the result is better than the first one I got, but it served well as a learning experience
