People sometimes ask me what interpretation of #quantum mechanics I prefer.
I point out that quantum mechanics is a method for solving #physics problems. What they are really asking is how do I interpret the physical realities underlying those physics problems.
It is held by physicists that, if you use any method other than quantum mechanics to solve those problems, you will get different results.
How mathematicians have tolerated this doctrine is a mystery. It is preposterous...
