The Chrotogale owstoni, or Owston’s Palm Civet inhabits Laos, Southern China, and Vietnam. Named in honor of English businessman, yachtsman, and naturalist Alan Owston, they are one of the world’s smallest civets! They have a head-and-body length of only 57 centimeters or 23 inches and weigh 4 to 6 pounds.
