I block people who claim an interest in physics but are not actually interested one bit in physics.
If someone came to you claiming what quantum physicists claim, but were anyone but a "qualified" quantum physicist, you would kick them in the ass. This has nothing to do with "mansplaining", which was a cheap dodge. This person clearly refused to look at any contrary theory.
Is that scientific? Is "I am an authority" a scientific argument?
