The Cabassous unicinctus, or Southern Naked-Tailed Armadillo, inhabits Northern Paraguay and Southern Brazil in South America. They are one of the world’s smallest armadillos, reaching lengths of 36 to 38 centimeters or 14 to 15 inches, with 16.002-centimeter or 6.3-inch tails, and weigh 6 to 8 pounds.
