Before Death's Head appeared in the Transformers there had been a single page comic strip introducing him and published in multiple Marvel UK comics of that time. This was because if he debuted in Transformers first, Hasbro could claim ownership whereas this short strip ensured he was a Marvel-owned character.
For the past 20 years Hasbro has been the maker of Marvel's main action figures specifically the Marvel Legends line anyways and he finally has a Legends figure! :D
