Nothing is more frustrating than clicking a link to what sounds like an interesting article, having to accept cookies in a popup, then decline logging in via Google or Facebook, then declining notifications, then having to turn off my ad blocker to read it... only to see only the first two sentences then it says "to keep reading, subscribe for just $x/day". Nothing.
Well maybe wireless printers, but this is a very close second.
