Then there was our disappointing experience grocery shopping. We went to 2 local supermarket chains, read dozens of labels, and literally found just ONE bread product that didn't list sesame on its label. ONE. It was a locally sourced sourdough.
One of the many brands we did not buy due to sesame being listed on the label was Ball Park buns. Apparently, their parent company was cited by the FDA for listing sesame on products that don't actually include it! 🤦🏻♀️
