This is quite fast. It works in annex-object trees, and the rest it done by https://rmlint.rtfd.io, which is really fast.
The command works incremental. It won't touch key files it already replaced with a hardlink. So it will be generally a lot faster than on its initial run. It only needs seconds to process my home directory with 500GB and 1.5M files.
It won't matter whether the git-annex repos where cloned from a common source.
