Florida is a bit of a wasteland if you drive an electric car, especially if it's not a Tesla. Charging spots are very few and far between, and they are really not taking advantage of the tremendous opportunities for solar power.
(My opinion from just driving around. Maybe there are huge farms I haven't seen)
