okay, I finished it tonight- I want to make it clear: it's a really excellent in depth analysis on all sorts of things related to gender politics and what gender means as people break free of restrictive norms. So it's got all sorts of insights about how the culture and the person are in constant interplay yada yada yada...
My problem is that she argues in good faith with bigots.
It's like arguing with alcoholics, and expecting them to see the light. Ain't gonna happen.
