There's huhu around the Imperial Palace tonight. Nacht der Kunst or some such, with food, drink, and live bands. No admission to the museum. Lotsa Charlemagne stuff. And...

Charlemagne's Imperial Palace, with 10th and 12th century additions, laid out over modern Ingelheim. We live in the courtyard formed by the 12th century defensive walls.
