Passing through Le Mans en route to Paris. They had the genius idea to make platform roof sections out of canvas. Some of course broke. So they just removed them, leaving many parts of the platform without covers. And it *never* rains in north west France 🙂
A pic of Le Mans station. There are a series of pylons and cables above the platform that should support canvas but this is missing on the platform nearest the camera. There’s a station sign saying LE MANS and a white building beyond the platforms.
