I might be wrong, but I am not stupid.
And what I say, and how I communicate it, will not come across as stupid.
By all means disagree with what I say, and that could well be due to a difference of ideology or ethics, or a different interpretation of the facts. And that's fine.
But how then the FDP and its leading politicians are not only wrong, but come across as stupid, really annoys me. Why the hell do you do that? Do you demean yourselves like that?
