These same people have no idea what flying through an ash plume will do to engines that are keeping their entitled aircraft in the sky.
Ash is FOD, but in the sky. Fly through that, and your engines are instant glass makers (and the "glass" doesn't exit). You'll wish you'd have stayed grounded after you stop being able to generate lift or control the aircraft.
