Okay, so the solution was easier than I realized. I had made things hard on myself by assuming an injected `browser()` statement was the same as `debug()` - but they're very different!
Within `debug()`, your `sys.call()` is the actual expression! So getting the debug line is as easy as
```
getSrcref(sys.call())[[1]]
```
As I learned, this _does not_ work in a `browser()` statement.
