This was a fun & sad adventure day. I paddled across Jenny Lk & hiked up Cascade Cyn looking for Ochotona princeps (American pika). Large colonies were reported in the trail side scree in a 2005 Grand Teton Nat Pk book I had read before my visit. Other than long abandon haypile dens, the little guys were nowhere to be found. Sadly, a warming planet has driven them further up the mountain. In many places they are running out of mountains to climb.
