"View from a Graboid's Tail" (Photo from California's Alabama Hills to the Sierra & Mt. Whitney (4,421m). The title is a nod to the scene in the movie "Tremors" where Kevin Bacon's character digs up a dead graboid, a type of carnivorous sand worm, & lifts up the tail. The Alabama Hills was the principle filming location for the movie & several hundred other movies like just about every B-Western ever made.)

A color photo of a sunset over a distant very tall and rugged snow covered mountain range. In the middle ground there is a large hill of highly fragmented bounders. In front of the large hill is a relatively flat area covered in short spring time green growth. In the foreground are two large pile of boulders on the left and right side of the frame. The photographer is standing on a conical rock formation, like a large snake's tail, that points toward the large hill in the middle ground and the distant snow covered mountain range. There's a few orange colored clouds and the ground in the foreground has a pinkish hue due to reflected sunset colors.
