Talked to someone yesterday who basically says he is earning enough at the BigCo but likes stimulating work over climbing the greasy pole so he has seemed out new exciting projects to the detriment of his career. Note: new stuff if it doesn’t take off won’t give you the “scope” needed for a big job whereas established products with 1,000s of customers will. Both need different skill sets and should be as rewarding but here we are. # NotCareerAdvise
