I wonder what the leave campaign would have said if you'd shown them this image from the future of the UK being replaced by Japan for 2nd place by market capitalization in the MSCI all country index, with a quote from The Economist citing Brexit. Probably dismissed it as fear-mongering nonsense. Pretty grim.
