Does anyone here have any contacts to #Asus's Laptop engineers that might be able to explain why quite a few (many?) of their Laptops need quirk entries in the #Linux #kernel to make the keyboard work[1]?
Such a contact would be really helpful, as the some developers might be able to solve the root case for real instead of waiting for users to report trouble and playing Whac-A-Mole.
