Ingredients baking soda (1 tsp) chocolate (85g) cocoa (4 tbsp) plain flour (200g) salt (1/2 tsp) sugar (200g) sunflower oil (5 tbsp) vanilla (1 tsp) water (225ml) white vinegar (1 tbsp) Instructions Preheat the oven to 180 C / gas mark 4. Grease a 20cm square cake tin. In a large bowl, combine the flour, salt, sugar, cocoa and bicarbonate of soda. Mix well with a fork, then stir in the oil, vinegar and vanilla extract. When the dry ingredients are thoroughly moistened, pour in the cold water and stir until the cake mixture is smooth. Stir in chocolate chips and pour mixture into prepared tin. Bake in preheated oven for 30 to 35 minutes, until a skewer inserted in centre comes out clean.
