I've just seen #northernlights for the first time in my life. Together with my wife we drove far to the countryside, set up our cameras and stared at the sky.
To be honest, the instant we saw it it didn't even click in our minds that this was it. The photos below look a lot more saturated than what our naked eyes could see. Once we realized what it is, we were very happy.
The shape and intensity changed quite rapidly and in about 10 minutes, was entirely gone.
This was a night to remember!
