Writing code #Rstats #S7 with #Copilot is sort of surreal. I think it "gets" that it's OOP, but since it's not widely used yet, it's trying to use the syntax from other languages (but filtered through it knowing that I'm working in R).
I'm getting a lot of foo$new() when I try to instantiate classes, and it keeps suggesting validators = list(<some vaguely correct-ish code>)
